  • What is a chemical spill kit?

Our EVO chemical spill kit contains important equipment to absorb and dispose of hazardous chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, strong chemicals, and solvents. It is not, however, suitable for use on oxidisers. Alternatively, our general-purpose variant can be used to clean up weaker chemicals and solvents – as well as coolant, antifreeze, oil and water. You can clearly differentiate the type of spill kit by the label on the front of the yellow bin.

  • What is an oil spill kit?

Oil spill kits contain specially designed equipment to absorb oil and fuel hydrocarbons whilst repelling water. Our EVO oil and fuel spill kit is ideal for construction sites and other hazardous workplaces. The materials effectively clean up hydraulic oil, engine oil, lubricating oil, and solvents. They can also be used on the water, including marinas and rivers. Depending on your need, we have options for a yellow or a smaller blue wheelie bin.

  • How to dispose of hazardous waste?

All our spill kits contain disposal bags and ties for safe and mess-free clearance of liquids. It's also advisable to use anti-tamper seals to prevent any further damage or harm. Depending on the type of substance – such as oil or chemical – you may need to arrange for collection from a local council or waste management service. You can find your local hazardous waste service via the government website.
